Happy Monday everyone! I had a fantastically decadent weekend! Just a warning this post is very picture heavy! This weekend my mom came over to visit and to see a play on Sunday.

Happy Royal Baby Monday!!!! I hope you all had a nice weekend! I had a fun filled weekend at the beach and was very sad to come back to reality this morning.
I headed home on Thursday evening for an early morning dentist appointment. After my appointment, my mom and I got pedicures and manicures, and then headed to lunch!
Happy Monday friends!! I don’t know about you all, but I was not quite ready for it to be Monday morning yet! We had a very busy holiday weekend and I’m sure many of you did as well!!
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend! It was beautiful in DC this weekend after Andrea rolled out of town. On Friday night, I had the last bowl of gazpacho that I made earlier in the week. I had it every night last week! I love gazpacho and had not made it in two summers. I’ll be posting my recipe here soon – it is a winner and completely guilt free!
Hi everyone!!! I want to apologize for the complete lack of posts over the school year. I had hoped to post at least once a month and instead ended up not posting at all. It was a crazy but successful first year of law school. I am happy that I survived and am enjoying a break from school work this summer!! I am working as a law clerk this summer in Old Town Alexandria and am loving my position so far.
This past weekend was hot and busy!!
On Friday night, Chris and I walked to Pete’s Pizza in Clarendon. I bought a Groupon a few weeks ago because I had been dying to try the pizza there and we decided it was the perfect time to use it up!
Happy Monday friends! Grab your reading glasses, I have a long one for y’all today! I spent this past weekend visiting with friends and family at the beach, and as always eating some wonderful food!! On Friday, my mom and I met my great Uncle Gerry and Aunt Linda for lunch with some of their friends at M.R. Ducks in Ocean City. M.R. Ducks is a famous bar and grill on the bayside of Talbot Street, very close to the Route 50 bridge!
Happy Monday everyone! It’s a very weird Monday for me, my last day of work was Friday so I’m spending today running errands and doing my usual weekend tasks. I don’t think the fact that I am finished working and about to be a student again has really hit me yet! I’m sure it will as soon as I’m up to my neck in law school reading. Anyway, since Friday was my last day, my boss surprised my team and I with cupcakes to celebrate and say goodbye! I had a chocolate cupcake at work, and let Chris enjoy the red velvet beauty in the photo above when I got home. They were HUGE cupcakes from a store called Edibles Incredible in the Reston Town Center. It was such a treat and I was very thankful. Sad to say goodbye and move on to the next phase of my life, but I’m excited at the same time!
