Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend.
On Friday, Chris and I went out to dinner at Cafe Asia.
We were in the mood for sushi and split five rolls. The Chesapeake Bay is my favorite (bottom row). It includes shrimp tempura, fresh crab, spicy mayo, and avocado. So good!!! We also had a Firecracker roll, a Spider roll, a veggie roll, and a smoked salmon roll. Cafe Asia is definitely my favorite sushi place in the area!
On Saturday morning, Chris and I headed down to Richmond.
Chris played golf with some friends and I headed to the Short Pump mall to meet up with my friend Jen. I was on a mission to find a new pair of jeans and I was successful!!
Jen and I had fun shopping and got lunch after working up an appetite walking around the mall. We decided to eat at Tara Thai. I had a spicy veggie and tofu dish. I really enjoyed it and it was not too heavy or too spicy. I’m excited that I like it because they actually have a location right next to my law school as well!
After lunch, Jen and I did a little more shopping before going our separate ways. I really liked the Short Pump mall. It’s an open air mall, which is really awesome! It was nice not to be cooped up inside all day!! I was happy that Jen decided to join me, it was nice to be there with someone who knew their way around. It’s also more fun to shop with a friend!!
After shopping, I picked Chris up from golf. It was a gorgeous course!
A little later in the evening, Chris and I headed to his 10 year high school reunion. We had a lot of fun and he had a great time catching up with old friends.
Chris spent Sunday watching football and reading while I did some work. His mom made us blueberry pancakes for breakfast, but I forgot to snap a picture!
We introduced Chris’ mom to Chipotle at lunchtime. She really liked it!! I liked mine too :).
Before heading back to DC, the three of us had dinner from Mary Angela’s. We each got a steak sub with mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. It was fabulous! I have half of this leftover to eat for dinner before class tonight also, which I’m very excited about!!
We headed home late and unfortunately missed The Walking Dead. I have to wait until tomorrow to find out what happened!!
I hope you have a great week!!
