My parents came into town this weekend; it was great to see them! After meeting up with my brother for a celebratory birthday lunch, we headed over to my apartment. It was a gorgeous day, so we didn’t sit still for too long! We walked from my place to the Georgetown Waterfront. I took the above picture on the Key Bridge during our stroll!
The waterfront was PACKED! Lots of families out celebrating college graduations and soaking up some fabulous weather! The picture above is of the crowd at Sequoia. After Sequoia, we headed over to Sea Catch for dinner. We sat outside on the canal and devoured some fantastic seafood. I definitely recommend the oysters and the scallop entrée! They infuse tea vodkas in-house for yummy tea vodka cocktails. Below is the Annapolis Treasure, such a great drink!
On Sunday morning, we celebrated Mother’s Day over brunch at the Market Tavern in Arlington. I had the waffle with mixed berries, it was delicious! I have a thing for blackberries, can’t get enough of them!
After my parents headed back to Delaware, I headed to the grocery store. Sirloin steaks were on special, so I grabbed a couple for a homemade Sunday night dinner. Broiled sirloin steaks, onion roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, and a Ribboned Asparagus Salad!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
